A portrait is more than a picture or a snapshot.  Portraits are vignettes of your past, a glimpse of days gone by and people remembered.  A great portrait will make time stand still, freeze that moment for you to trasure for the rest of your life.  A photographer can take a picture, but it takes a true photographic artist to capture the raw emotion that looks into your soul.

As a native Arizona, my love of photography started at a very early age.  My dad, a train conductor for the Santa Fe railroad, traveled in some of the most remote locations of this state.  I would sit in awe as he told me of all the places he had seen, the people that traveled on the train, and see the pictures, already framed in my head.

High school solidified my passion for this artistic endeavor.  High school allowed me to  have a real sense of belonging and that freedom helped me to discover my raw talents.  I relished going into the dark room at Alhambra High School, just to see how different photographic and developing techniques worked.

I continued my education at Glendale Community College, Scottsdale Community College and Phoenix Community College.  I continued to broaden my horizons, and along with portraiture I also took clases in landscape photography and commercial photography.  My love and my passion are and will always be Portraiture and wedding photography.

Although the world of photography changes daily, I embrace the new scope brought to the art through design and technology.  As a professional Photographer, my continuing education is very important to me.  I spend countless hours each year in classes or seminars refining my talents and furthering my knowledge of photography.  I am a member of the Phoenix Professional Photographers Association, Wedding and Portrait Photographers International and the Professional Photographers of America.

I believe, as a Photographer, your special day is as important to you as it is to me.  You  have planned hard to make this a day to remember and cherish, my staff and I will do our best to ensure that your day will be as special as you imagined.  Congratulations on your engagement, wedding, family reunion or special event.
